I smashed my hip up pretty bad about 50km into yesterday’s Tour de Victoria. I managed to push through the remaining 90km for a 4:39 finish but haven’t been able to walk since (soft tissue X-ray later today — fingers crossed for good news!)Fortunately Union Jump Ship  was right next door, so I still managed to grab a few shots for CVV Magazine. I’m not super stoked on the photos—being on crutches I couldn’t get onto the barge or manipulate my body to get some more dynamic angles. Nonetheless, I’m glad that I still caught the event. Just like cycling 90km injured, sometimes it just feels good to complete the damn job.
